Carmen Maciariello enters his second season as the head coach of the Siena Men’s Basketball team. “Coach Carm” led the Saints to the MAAC Championship in just his first season last winter. A native of the Capital Region, he previously played for his hometown Saints and also served as an assistant before being named head coach.
Coach Carm has coached for nearly 20 years, and also played professionally for four years in Italy, where his family is originally from. Coach Carm and his wife, Laura, have two young children who they love reading to – a three-year-old daughter, Reese, and son, Matteo, who was born in May.
