Daryl Banks III is a sophomore guard on the Saint Peter’s University men’s basketball team who has played in every game of his career, while making over 30 starts. Daryl, who was born in Los Angeles, California, is one of the best players on his team and in the MAAC, earning All-Conference honors in both his freshman and sophomore seasons. His success didn’t just start in college, at The Patrick School in New Jersey where he attended high school, Daryl won the 2017 Tournament of Champions with his basketball team.
Daryl is committed to success on and off the court. In the classroom, he has one of the best grade point averages on his team and he was named to the 2019-20 MAAC Academic Honor Roll last season. Daryl’s favorite food to eat are chicken wings and his favorite color is blue, which is fitting for a Peacock.
